Weekly Lawn Maintenance
Our weekly lawn service program includes:
Mowing the property with our commercial zero turn tractors & push mowers
Edging of all borders and obstacles around the yard
Edging of the sidewalks and driveways
Blowing of clippings from landscaped and paved areas
Our standard service will consist of mulching of the grass clippings. We offer bagging of lawn clippings for an additional fee.
We mow “as needed” typically weekly in the rainier months of the spring and fall or if there is regular watering. We may mow biweekly in the dryer months when lawn growth is slower.
We don’t do contracts so you can cancel or start at any time.
Billing is completed at the end of every month and statements are issued within 2 weeks. We accept check, Venmo, Zelle and online payments through our website which include Apple Pay.
5 Step Fertilizer Program
We perform a 5 step fertilizer program that targets weeds and inspects; while simultaneously providing the nutrients needed throughout each stage of the growing season.
Application Schedule
April - Crab Grass
May - Weed n Feed
July - Grub Control
Sept - Weed n Feed
Oct - Winterization
We offer free spot spraying of weeds in the grass that appear after treatment.
All of our fertilizer is granule besides the spraying.
Aeration
Aeration is an important part of any lawn restoration program as it allows grass roots to deeply penetrate the soil, helps fertilizer and organic matter to get to the roots, allows oxygen to reach the roots, and makes it easier for water to soak into the soil.
We suggest aerating your lawn simply once per year, in the spring or the fall. Avoid aerating during summer months because you may damage an already stressed lawn. Also, avoid periods when weed seeds are prevalent, as that could cause a weed infestation. Aerating works the best when the soil is moist. So unless it rains, water your lawn a day before aerating.
Upon completion of aerating the lawn we suggest thoroughly watering and seed if needed.
Dethatch
In the spring lawns appear to look yellow as a result of the previous summers droughts, diseases or a harsh winter. The yellow grass is called thatch and it gathers just above the soil preventing new growth or fertilizer from properly distributing.
A de-thatcher (power rake) is a gas-powered tool with heavy metal tines that whip the lawn as the machine passes. The main benefit of de-thatching is to free up space to allow new grass and fertilizer to do their job and build a healthy lawn.
We provide a full-lawn de-thatching that will free up the surface of your grass from built-up thatch. With our power rake machine we rake the entire lawn, freeing up the thatch build up, then mow the lawn with our bag attachment to remove all the stirred up grass for disposal. After we complete this service we recommend clients seed the lawn and or apply the recommended fertilizer application.
